Battle Ready Swords and Stage Combat Swords

The following pictures and works of our swords are completely hand forged and most are battle ready, read description for type of sword. Please be advised that swords even with a dull edge are capable of inflicting major damage and injury if used improperly. We recommend that if you intend on using your sword for battle that you take a course from a professional swordsmen to protect yourself and others that you engage swordplay with. Most of our swords are made for use but we hold no responsibility for misuse. Many of our Pirate mates love our swords as they are light to carry and fast in battle. Please read each listing and fit yourself to a sword. If we do not have what you are looking for in stock feel free to call us or send us a message. Most of our swords are made for battle but we do also make hip hangers that are strictly for show and display. Hip Hagers and display swords are just that, for display "not for battle" and they will be listed as such.

Yellow Bronze Dagger

Bronze has been used in weaponry since 3000 BC and as little as it has been used in more recent years I think its time for a bit of a comeback. This blade is cast as a single piece, yellow bronze dagger with a lot of Georgian Era influence but also has traits in the blade that date back much further making it a fully transitional piece. Made as a last resort weapon yet light enough to be worn it the hair at 2.4 oz. Its overall length is 8" 1/2 with a blade length of 4"1/2 inches. Stamped with our forge mark. Can be used as a Belt Dagger, Boot Dagger, Bodice Dagger or even a Garter Dagger with the proper sheath.Comes without sheath as a Hair Dagger but if you would like a sheath just let us know when ordering

White Bronze Companion Dagger

Made only as a last resort dagger this fine piece is cast of White Bronze and a piece I will continue to produce. In looking for a design that is as elegant as a piece of jewelry I came up with this fine casting. Made to be worn as a neck knife or Bodice Dagger it will hang from a simple sheath from the neck with a single lace of leather in a soft leather sheath with a cardboard core. This one sold before I was able to post it for a fine lass that wanted a small dagger. It is 9" overall, 2" 5/8 wide at the guard and 5/8 wide at the grip. This would also make a nice thigh dagger for the ladies, only 4.5 oz in weight.

White Bronze Push Dagger

Today we don't often think of bronze and weaponry but it was very popular during the Bronze age. This dagger is no different than the quality of weapon of this size at that time. This Kings Forge Push Dagger will be a new staple of our website, cast in both White and Yellow Bronze. This one being in White Bronze. This dagger is 10" overall and can be worn as a Bodice dagger, boot dagger, belt dagger or even thigh dagger. We will make a sheath at an extra cost on this new model and to your desire of how you would like to wear it.

Hearts Desire

I had to come up with a custom heart design for another project and saw the design of this dagger in my mind as I have been finishing the other for a customer. Here we have the Hearts Desire with the guard, knuckle bow and diamond shaped pommel cast of brass. We can also cast this in White Bronze at an additional cost. The handle needed to complement the rest of this fine dagger so I finished that with poly black cherry acrylic. The blade is carbon steel left un-sharpened but is fairly sharp at the tip. The blade measures 14" and it has an overall length of 19". The scabbard will be wooden covered with black leather and a button holder for a belt or frog. It is balanced about 1'4 forward of the guard and weighs 1 pound 6 oz.

Blackbeard's Sword - Hunting Sword Battle Ready

Ever since the original sword was found at the sight of The Queen Annes Revenge believed to be Blackbeard's sword we have looked to copy it and here we have what most will see as a very close copy to the original. This fine sword has all the gilded dressings of the original and we spared no detail in the making of this fully battle ready sword. The brass fittings are highly detailed with scroll work and the Fleur de Lis markings of the original showing its French origin. The blade on this fine piece is fullered for strength and is 26" with an overall length of 33", a full tanged sword that is threaded under the pommel cap for battle engagement. The Elk antler grip will fit the largest of hands with plenty of room for large knuckles under the brass chain knuckle bow. Fitting for any Pirate persona but perfect for our Blackbeard fans. Museum quality, comes complete with black scabbard

The Mermaids Sting

Made with the finest of Musketeer blades this sword is Fierce! I chose the Musketeer blade as it resembles a Marlinspike that a Mermaid would use as a sword. The Musketeer blade is a 3 sided blade and has incredible strength and speed. This sword only weighs 1 pound 10 oz and is perfectly balanced at the very beginning of the hilt. The grip is poly pearl and sparkles in the sunlight, it is double threaded at the hilt. It has an overall length of 35" 1/2 with a 30 blade and will come complete with a wooden scabbard covered in black leather. This sword is of the very finest of quality and is certainly considered battle ready. Made to fit most hands but the grip is small compared to most of my swords

Patience Short Sword Rapier

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
To adopt the practice of nature, her secret is patience.
Long have I planned on making a new pattern Rapier that was different from others and I believe I have found her in Patience. This fine battle ready Rapier has a 28" 1/2 blade of spring steel with good flex that snaps right back into place. It is 33" 1/2 overall.
I cast the knuckle bow, guard and pommel of brass and fitted it with a hardwood handle covered with leather and twisted brass wire for better grip. This full tanged sword is double threaded with a nut up against the handle and then finished off with a threaded pommel. She weighs 2.4 pounds overall and is perfectly balanced.

Gunners Stiletto ( Battle Ready )

As seen in The Encyclopedia of European historical Weapons by Hamlyn page 118 is the Italian Gunners Stiletto circa mid to late 16th - mid 17th century. This was a gunners tool and weapon. Historians have not pinpointed the date of this tool - weapon though there is historical reference without mention of the location of the original. These types of gunners Stilletto's were made with both trianglar as well as square shaped blades, sharpened at the tip. This model is the square blade shape. Artillerymen used this specialized dagger for measuring the bore of a gun and size of shot. Typical models such as ours came with caliber measurements from 0 to 120. This model has a blade length of 16" 1/8 and an overall length of 21" 1/2

This type of sword was one of the sword types in the transition from long bladed Rapiers to the shorter and lighter small swords during the first half of the 17th century.
