About Us

We here at Kings Forge are honored to carry on the tradition of making some of the finest hand forged tomahawks, swords and knives that you can buy that are made to last a lifetime and beyond. We do not mass produce, each piece is made by hand, hammer and anvil and will vary from piece to piece. We are not in the market to make a perfectly polished product and if that's what you are in the market for there are a lot of mass produced products on the market.
Much care and time go into each throwing tomahawk, boarding axe, knife, sword or anything else you see on our pages. We are happy to have people come to our workshop and see firsthand the work we do on an appointment basis only and let us know if you are in our neck of the woods. We are happy to provide our knives, hawks and swords to Professional throwers, re-enactors, collectors and sportsmen and women all over the world. We also serve our US Military, major sports franchises and our television and movie production industries.
Master Smithy William Richard King leads the way in our workshop and is also one of the Georgia State Representatives for the International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame and has been forging tomahawks, knives and swords for over 28 years. Will is happy to teach you the proper techniques of throwing to make it a totally enjoyable experience and is a Master Certified Tomahawk Throwing Instructor.
We also do all of our own casting work for one of a kind pieces. Much of the work you will see here on our website can not be found anywhere else. We specialize in historical pieces but we also make a lot of fantasy work in our swords and knives. When it comes to tomahawks we prefer to copy originals and they are made for use and throwing.
If you are looking for something special, made for use and made to last a lifetime and beyond by an all American company we look forward to serving you.

Pictured here is my good friend and mate Tony Swatton and myself. It was a real honor to get to stand and bump elbows with Tony in his world famous shop Sword and Stone in the spring of 2014. Tony has honored us with doing engraving work in the past for us. Tony is known throughout the world for his fantastic work in movies and television productions and has his own tv show Man at Arms. Be sure to catch his show as he will certainly amaze you! I think in todays day and age most business people are afraid to endorse others they feel are competition but I will gladly tell you all that I fully endorse Tony and Sword and Stone and do be sure to check out his website and his wonderful work for the public and production industry

We Custom made this Hybrid Rogers Rangers Tomahawk designed by Jeff MacKay the screenplay writer for the movie The Buccaneer. This is a period film of epic scale. This movie is Last of the Mohicans meets Pirates of the Caribbean. It is the story of Captain James Roy, a Scottish nobleman serving in the British Army as one of Roger’s Rangers, fighting on the American frontier in 1756, during the French and Indian War. A nobleman turned to Piracy for vengeance sake. Add this page to your favorites and hit the like button on the page to be part of getting this movie made! Picture courtesy of Rebecca MacKay. Thank you Rebecca! We were just honored to make the tomahawk for Jeff and to his specifications!
"" Will King created a "custom" spontoon or half pike at my request, which I have received. I am very pleased with it, quality workmanship in every respect. Will and I had a dialog about what form it should take - I had done considerable research into the spontoon and its history on the American Continent, but so had Will!! The result was different than I had originally contemplated, but better! From my experience I can recommend Will's creations without any hesitation or reservation!
